Need to change dates? Stop fishing for answers!

We all have those annoying friends who constantly change their minds. One day they’re a vegetarian; the next day you find them chowing down on a juicy cheeseburger. As you’d expect, planning trips for such fickle friends as these can sometimes be challenging.

Let’s say you’re looking for a hotel in London for a friend who is going there for a weekend, and you’ve already filled out the search information.

After searching through the results, you settle on the TRVL-recommended 'My Bloomsbury' hotel – because who wouldn’t want to stay in a hotel that’s hip, serene and Feng-shui all at the same time?

At this point, you’re all ready to suggest this cool, hand-picked hotel to your friend, but, of course, like the scatterbrained person they are, they tell you that this is the wrong weekend. The trip to London is actually the following weekend. They gave you the wrong dates. Facepalm. You quickly realize that clicking the calendar on the left side of the search won’t allow you to change the dates for the trip. What do you do? Can you still change the dates?

Yes, you can. What you have to do is go back to the original search, change the dates, and then click “Go.” Once you click “Go,” your old suggestions disappear, and your new dates are loaded into the system.

Now you can search again for a hotel using the correct dates (and hope that they don’t change their mind again). In the future, it will be possible to change the dates while searching for hotels, but, for now, just follow these instructions for all of your fickle friends’ bookings.
